Aging at Home

Canadians want more than anything to have the choice where they live as they age.  We know that our healthcare system cannot sustain the level of care being provided in hospitals or even in Long Term Care settings. To help people age in their own homes, Assistance Services Group has developed a suite of services designed to support people who have made the choice to be at home.  By combining solutions that we deliver to the healthcare system with our Legal and Home Assistance services we believe that we can make a significant contribution to the quality of life of people as they age. Our services are also designed to reduce the stress and anxiety of  families who are often unable to help as much as they would like. Our Aging home services include:

  • Helping people to work with their family physicain teams
  • Support for people after they have left the hospital
  • Treatment and medication refill reminders and support
  • Coaching to help people with positive lifestyle changes
  • Support for families impacted by dementia
  • Health and Social Services system navigation
  • Home Assistance (household maintenance support, emergency household repairs)
